The Advanced Propulsion Centre is an independent company created by UK government and the Automotive Industry.
We collaborate with UK government, industry and academia to accelerate the industrialisation of technologies, supporting the transition to deliver net-zero emission vehicles.
Since our foundation in 2013, we’ve funded 170 low-carbon projects, involving 402 partners, working with companies of all sizes, and have helped to create or safeguard nearly 50,000 jobs in the UK. The technologies developed in these projects are projected to save over 288 million tonnes of CO2, the equivalent of removing the lifetime emissions from 12 million cars.
With our knowledge and insight, our role in building and advising project consortia helps projects start more quickly and deliver more value. Our work to drive innovation and encourage collaboration is building the foundations for a successful UK industry.
We’re excited to be part of the largest ever UK Government Pavilion at this year’s Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM event, hosting a record-breaking number of partners and exhibits, that places the UK innovation ecosystem centre-stage. We’re part of this unique ecosystem which is made up of key organisations that are dedicated to positioning the UK at the forefront of the global transition to net zero. Our team will be available on the UK Government Pavilion to discuss the opportunities to support your low-carbon innovations and share key insights into the future of the automotive industry.
We also have an area dedicated to demonstrating the 12 incredible innovations developed through our ARMD (Advanced Route to Market Demonstrator) fast-start competition, which was introduced to sustain and advance cutting-edge UK R&D during the COVID pandemic. Visit the ARMD stand to explore the demonstrators that have been developed in just 12 months to accelerate the transition to zero-emission vehicles. Now concluded, these projects will be used to seed future development programmes nationwide and drive overseas investment into the UK.
Visit us on the UK Government Pavilion and the ARMD stand in Hall 3 to find out more about how we can help you accelerate the industrialisation of your low-carbon automotive technology.
