The Department for International Trade (DIT) is the government department that helps UK companies succeed globally and assists overseas companies to bring investment to the UK. Our employees and partners, working in every part of the UK and in more than 100 markets, support and advise UK companies at home and abroad, and encourage and support overseas companies investing in the UK.
We lead the whole of government effort to help UK firms win business overseas and rebalance the economy towards export-led sustainable economic growth. DIT will be part of the Virtual UK Government Pavilion alongside a range of partners and government departments who provide support for the automotive industry. Please visit us to find out more about how we can help you.
In previous years, the Department for International Trade (DIT) have brought delegates from all over the world to LCV-CAM to see UK technology for themselves. Obviously, physical travel is not possible this year, but DIT are delighted that so many potential buyers and investors will be attending LCV/CAM 2020 virtually. Delegates will be attending from countries ranging from China and Japan to Brazil, Mexico, Germany and the UAE. These companies are keen to explore opportunities to collaborate with UK organisations in the fields of low carbon propulsion, vehicle light-weighting and connected and automated vehicles. You can schedule 1-2-1 meetings with these overseas companies as well as with our automotive specialist advisers through the DIT virtual exhibition stand at LCV-CAM 2020 here. We look forward to engaging with you!
