Innovate UK is the business facing part of UK Research and Innovation. Together with the other Government Partners we are delighted to be supporting CENEX LCV CAM 2021 and proud to showcase the amazing UK Innovation that we have supported.
Through investment, connections and insight, Innovate UK is building on the UK’s automotive excellence to accelerate economic growth. We fund business and research collaborations to accelerate innovation and drive business investment into R&D. Our national innovation network brings together businesses, Catapult centres, research communities and government to nurture the best new ideas.
UKRI teams from Innovate UK will be part of the UK Government Pavilion area - shared with our innovation partners from the Advanced Propulsion Centre, the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, the Department for International Trade, the Low Carbon Vehicles Partnership, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. We are also joined this year by colleagues involved in Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) initiatives: Teams from Driving the Electric Revolution (DER), the Faraday Battery Challenge (FBC), Faraday Institute and UK Battery Innovation Centre (UKBIC) will be on hand to answer questions and signpost opportunities.
We are delighted to be able to return to a physical event in 2021 and to showcase the latest cutting edge innovations (delivered with our partners) through our V2G, IDP and CAV programmes. Please do join us on the Government Pavilion where you can chat with UKRI and Innovate UK staff about recent competitions, sector challenges or discuss funding opportunities. If you are interested in vehicle charging, come and see our dedicated charging stand in Hall 3, or if your interest is with automation, our sector experts will be available in Hall 1. There is plenty to see including the latest information on CAV activity, watch videos including from recent projects or follow signposts to Projects stands displaying the latest funded technologies and innovation.
